Serpentine Primary School is a medium sized Primary School (approximately 280 students) catering for the needs of the Serpentine township and the surrounding area. The town is 25 km south of Armadale on the South Western Highway. The Serpentine area is steadily growing as people come away from the city to enjoy a rural lifestyle. As a result, the town has a mixture of people including long time farming families, newer families on hobby farm sized blocks and families living in town. The school has a distinct rural feel with a strong environmental focus.

Our school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 7, offering the full range of learning areas consistent with the Western Australian Department of Education and Training’s Curriculum Framework. These include English, Mathematics, Society and Environment, Science, Health and Physical Education, Technology and Enterprise, the Arts and Languages Other Than English (Italian). All students participate in learning activities designed to support the achievement of the Overarching Learning Outcomes.
