The Bangalow Cooking School (BCS) is situated in Bangalow, a quaint village in the Byron hinterland just 12 minutes drive from the beautiful Byron Bay beaches and nestled amongst rolling rural hills dotted with macadamia trees and coffee bushes. The school was founded in 2004 by Leah Roland, a visual artist, culinary entrepreneur and journalist seeking a sea change from the corporate city catering life. The school is housed in the beautiful historic A&I Hall – home to many major cultural events and festivals in the Northern River Region.
