Italy Joins Czech Republic, Jordan, Switzerland, Ireland, Vietnam, Uganda, and More in Emirates’ Expansive Premium Economy Cabin Rollout Across Key Global Routes This Year: Know More

Emirates is broadening its Premium Economy cabin offering to include Italy, Czech Republic, Jordan, Switzerland, Ireland, Vietnam, Uganda, and several other key destinations this year. This expansion is part of the airline’s ongoing effort to enhance passenger comfort on its long-haul routes. With travelers increasingly seeking more luxurious and spacious seating options, Emirates is addressing this demand by retrofitting its fleet with the Premium Economy class. By introducing the upgraded cabins to these new locations, the airline is not only improving the in-flight experience but also reinforcing its commitment to providing world-class service. The addition of these cities to the Premium Economy network allows Emirates to offer superior comfort and amenities to passengers flying to major global destinations, as part of a broader plan to have Premium Economy available on 99 routes by the end of the year.

Emirates is significantly expanding its Premium Economy offering, bringing this upgraded cabin experience to nine new destinations across Europe, Africa, and Asia. As part of its ongoing effort to enhance the passenger experience, the airline is rapidly retrofitting more of its aircraft with the premium service, ensuring that more travelers enjoy the luxury and comfort of Premium Economy. By the end of the year, Emirates intends to make this class available on a total of 99 routes across its global network.

The expansion of Premium Economy begins in March, when Emirates will introduce its upgraded four-class Airbus A380s and three-class Boeing 777s on select routes. Over the following months, additional Boeing 777 models and the newly configured Airbus A350s will be incorporated into the network, further extending the availability of Premium Economy across a variety of long-haul destinations.

The first routes to feature the upgraded aircraft will be to Zurich, Switzerland, starting March 1st, followed by the addition of Mauritius and Entebbe in Africa on March 29th. These destinations will see the deployment of aircraft equipped with the new Premium Economy cabin, which features larger seats, extra legroom, and enhanced in-flight amenities for a more comfortable journey.

In April, Emirates will roll out its first refurbished A380, featuring a revamped three-class layout that includes 76 Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats, and 437 Economy seats. The newly upgraded A380 will initially operate on routes to Amman, Jordan, between April 14th and May 31st, followed by service to Prague, Czech Republic, starting June 1st. By November, all 15 of Emirates’ two-class A380s will be retrofitted with this new configuration, giving passengers the option to enjoy Premium Economy on even more flights.

In addition to the new A380 configurations, Emirates is also enhancing service on its New York (JFK) route. Starting in April, a four-class A380 will operate on the route four times a week, with the frequency increasing to daily from June 1st. This will offer travelers more opportunities to experience the upgraded cabin, especially on one of Emirates’ most popular routes.

May will see the introduction of Premium Economy on flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Basra, Iraq, both of which will start offering the new cabin on May 1st. Milan, Italy, will also join the network on May 10th, allowing passengers traveling to and from this iconic Italian city to enjoy the added comfort of Premium Economy.

The expansion will continue later in the year, with Premium Economy launching in Hong Kong on October 1st and in Dublin on October 25th. These additional routes are part of Emirates’ ongoing effort to provide a high-quality travel experience for passengers in a wider range of international markets.

Emirates is not only upgrading its aircraft but also improving the overall travel experience for its customers. The airline is currently deploying free Starlink WiFi across its fleet, ensuring passengers enjoy fast, reliable internet connectivity during their flights. This is a significant enhancement for travelers who need to stay connected during long-haul journeys.

The airline is also expanding its premium ground services, including offering complimentary chauffeur transfers for Business and First Class passengers. This service has already been introduced at Tokyo’s Kansai and Narita airports, providing added convenience for premium travelers as they travel to and from the airport in style.

Emirates is expanding its Premium Economy cabin to Italy, Czech Republic, Jordan, Switzerland, Ireland, Vietnam, Uganda, and more this year, as part of its effort to enhance passenger comfort and meet growing demand for upgraded travel experiences across key global routes.

Through this major investment in both its in-flight and ground services, Emirates is strengthening its commitment to providing top-tier travel experiences. With the widespread rollout of Premium Economy, the introduction of fast, free WiFi, and the expansion of its premium airport services, Emirates continues to set the standard for comfort and luxury in air travel, ensuring that passengers can enjoy a world-class journey no matter where they fly.
