St Declan's Catholic School

School Find introduces St Declan's Catholic School in Penshurst, for all your education and learning needs.

St Declan's is a two stream, Kindergarten to Year 6 school, located in the south-eastern region of the Sydney Archdiocese. The school has been offering a quality Catholic education to the children in the area since 1907.

Our school motto "Never see a need without trying to do something about it", challenges us to live out the Gospel message in the same way that Blessed Mary MacKillop did, through service and love of others - to be active Christians of the 21st century!

At St Declan's we value the development of the whole child. A philosophy that is reflected in a rich curriculum, with learning programs that interest and challenge the student, developed by a professional and enthusiastic staff. We place strong emphasis on skill development in the key areas of literacy and numeracy and, to prepare our students for the future, technology is an important integrated learning tool in all classes and the library.

We are supported by an active parent body who work in partnership with the school and assist in many ways.
