St Brigid's Primary School Kyogle

School Find introduces St Brigid's Primary School Kyogle in Kyogle, for all your education and learning needs.

St Brigid’s is located in the town of Kyogle and is part of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Parish which serves the communities of Kyogle township, the villages of Wiangaree and Cawongla and outlying areas west to Ettrick, north to Grady’s Creek and Nimbin, and east to Bentley. School families are drawn from these communities.

The Parish Priest, Fr Max Gow, is very involved in the life of the school. St Brigid’s is a Parish School with strong links to the parish family.

The school aims to involve the children and their families in the life of the parish through activities such as:

• participation in the monthly parish school Mass, as well as staff attending midweek Mass;
• the formation of a choir for liturgy;
• support for Catholic Missions such as Caritas;
• support for the St Vincent De Paul Christmas appeal;
• hosting of the school parish BBQ on pageant night;
• participation by members of the parish in the Learning Assistance Program (LAP).
